Of Course it's Eco-Friendly, this is Colorado

Polylactic Acid (PLA) is the official MVP of the Colorado granola lifestyle—it’s a bioplastic made from renewable goodies like corn starch and sugarcane, so you can feel good about saving the planet while sipping oat milk lattes in your hiking boots.

Unlike petroleum-based plastics that haunt landfills for centuries, PLA keeps it classy by breaking down under industrial composting conditions (think high heat, lots of microbes, and the kind of moisture a mountain trail wishes for). It’s non-toxic, has a lower carbon footprint, and, let’s face it, fits the "eco-warrior" aesthetic perfectly.

Just remember: PLA doesn’t compost in your backyard bin or while chilling out in nature, so recycle it somewhere it can really strut its sustainable stuff. Because in Colorado, we don’t just talk about being green—we 3D-print trinkets out of it. 🌿✨
